Some of the highlights from our Adventure Hero Day Camp for the Teacher's Workday on Monday, February 20th. Participants had a great time with obstacle courses, deciphering clues, learning about archeology, avoiding snakes, and more!
Valentine's Classes were a big hit! It was a great time to share class with loved ones and make some special memories together. Our students taught their Valentine some basic martial arts techniques and finished by giving them a gift.
On Friday, February 10th we held our annual Valentine's Parents' Night Out where students were able to play games, watch a movie and socialize with one another.
It was a beautiful day for our Kicking for Carteret Kids event March 4th. Students performed more than 97,000 kicks and raised $2,730 for scholarships and educational programs at the Nature School at Camp Albemarle. Demonstration by Parker Moody to begin our Power Breaking Seminar today. Parker is from the Wilson, NC branch and is a multi-time World Champion and holder of two World Records.
Some of our students had the opportunity to learn Power Breaking tips and techniques from World Champion and Record Holder Parker Moody at our seminar. It was so awesome to see these students challenge themselves as they all set new personal records with breaks. Hearing their classmates and the spectators cheer them on made for a very positive and uplifting experience!

11/6/21 - Students had a great time at our Karate-thon to benefit the Children's Hospital Foundation. They earned points for forms, sparring, board breaking, and knowledge questions. Our event was held in conjunction with other events at schools teaching Grandmaster Dong's system. It is amazing what we can do together! We were happy to present a check to the Children's Hospital Foundation for $74,697 raised at this year's events. Thank you for helping make the 50th anniversary event a success!
We have had a lot of fun introducing our new interactive training tools to our students over the last few weeks. These new lighted pods have been a fun addition as they help train balance, coordination, reaction time, speed, agility and more.
September 2021 - New students had an opportunity to break their first board during our Confidence Clinic
August 2021 - We finished off our summer with a Camp set in a Galaxy Far, Far Away! There were galactic visitors, arts and crafts and themed martial arts lessons.

Three of our Morehead City instructors were honored to receive awards at the World Martial Arts Grandmasters Federation ceremony in Manassas, VA. The event on October 19 was attended by Grandmasters from many countries and different martial arts styles.
